With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Buea, Cameroon, Faith started her career as a Junior Treasurer at the National Crude Oil Refinery and went on to head the Treasury and Finance office of the Refinery. During her time as the Treasury team head, she crafted and prepared working capital reports, negotiating and presenting to multiple large banks, and securing loans for the Company. She also successfully made material late payment interest reclamations from clients and lowered the overall bad debt situation of the company by at least 20%.
A little under five years later, and right before starting her MBA, she worked as Finance Controller for Premier Attire shops in the Illinois Area. At Notre Dame, she is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Investments.
Outside of work, you will find that Faith is very passionate about child education and has founded an organization called “Free teachers.” This organization's mission is to ensure that orphans and less privileged children stay motivated about their education. She also currently serves as a volunteer tutor with the University of Notre Dame center for civic innovation.
